Ranbir and Shahid competing for same role in ‘Chithiyan’

Rumor has it that both Ranbir and Shahid are competing for the lead role in Vidhu’s upcoming project titled, ‘Chithiyan.’ Based on a love triangle and will feature the ‘3 Idiots’ actor, Salman Joshi. With the scripting and research going on in full swing, Vidhu hasn’t been able to decide whom to cast for the lead role.
Apparently producer met with Ranbir in Los Angeles, a few months ago and discussed the project. Later, he also fixed an appointment with Shahid at his office in Mumbai to discuss the same role.
A source close to the producer said – “The casting is still in process. It’s a two hero film. Sharman Joshi is definitely playing one of the two heroes. Chopra decided to sign him after watching the rushes of ‘Ferrari Ki Sawaari.’”
