Tiger Shroff will train Aamir for Dhoom 3!

Aamir Khan is all set to get back his Ghajini like tough looks for Dhoom 3. It is heard that the actor has hired a young and dynamic trainer named Tiger Shroff.

Aamir Khan with the help of Jackie Shroff’s son is all set to re build his physique for his villainish look in Dhoom 3. If sources are to be believed, aamir will be essaying the role of a gym instructor and so in order to understand various physical-training techniques in the gym, he is getting trained by one..

Tiger Shroff is yet to start his acting career. So why did aamir choose a young fresher, when he could get a much more matured and experienced trainer???

Well, introducing Tiger to the world, for the past four years, he has been into hard core training. Been an athlete and a football player in school, has been practicing martial arts since the age of 14.

Aamir is so much impressed with Tiger that he is ready to go to any extent and has already made plans to launch him in the film industry.

Katrina Kaif in Dabangg 2??

Katrina Kaif and item numbers go hand-in-hand. The latest news is that Kats is very keen on being a part of Salman Khan’s Dabangg 2. She had expressed her desire to be in Dabangg 2 while shooting for Ek Tha Tiger.

So is Kats hinting an item number on her name??

Well, we heard that this time Salman Khan is eager on roping in Kareena Kapoor for one of his songs,‘Munni’ Malaika is already an item girl in the film.

SRK romances Katrina !!

The king of romance Shahrukh Khan is all set to romance Bollywood’s most beautiful woman, Katrina Kaif in Yash Chopra’s untitled flick, which also has Anushka Sharma, playing a pivotal role. Yashji is back to direction after seven long years.

The pictures from the sets of the film is enough to guess the amount of romance in the film. The fact that it’s a Yash Chopra film, and SRK, the romantic king playing the lead, says it all.

Yash ji proudly says, “Everyone knows that when I make a movie, Shahrukh will be involved with it. He is like family to YRF and I have always regarded him as one of my own.”

Yash ji also has an important thing to say about the film, “This is a film which is classic in its look but contemporary in its language. A film which I’m making on one simple faith… the love that my audiences have given to me over the years. They have tolerated my indulgences for the past 50 years, I’m sure they will indulge me one more time.”

The movie is scheduled for a Diwali 2012 release.

Katrina charges Rs. 1 Crore to be the ShowStopper !!

Katrina Kaif to play Seeta Aur Geeta!

Katrina Kaif will soon be seen playing the role of Hema Malini’s character in the remake of 1973 blockbuster Seeta Aur Geeta. Dharmendra and Sanjeev Kumar role will be essayed by Akshay Kumar and Abhay Deol, respectively. The Sippy family who were reported to have certain differences, have now made up and are friends.

In the original film, Hema Malini played a double role- a meek Seeta and the feisty Geeta. And the talented actress pulled off the challenging role with superb ease.

Produced by G P Sippy and directed by Ramesh Sippy in 1972, Seeta Aur Geeta will now be revived by Sascha and Shaan Sippy (grandsons of G P Sippy). Initially, there was a family feud over the remake rights. However, the spat is now resolved and the remake will now go on floors as planned.

Katrina Kaif is currently in London with SRK, shooting for Yash Chopra’s comeback film.

ShahRukh Khan and Katrina Kaif are shooting in London. Within few hours of landing, SRK and Katrina moved straight to the sets of Yash Chopra’s yet untitled project. impressively, the duo wrapped up few shots the very same day.

An source told, “Shah Rukh has been taking extra care to ensure that Katrina is comfortable on the sets.They have been getting along really well.”

 Director Yash Chopra, producer Aditya Chopra, cinematographer Anil Mehta and costume designer Manish Malhotra were also there on the sets.

Apart from Katrina Kaif, Anushka Sharma is the other leading actress opposite SRK. However, she is expected to join after a month.

'It’s not dancing, but shaking' says dance maestro Birju Maharaj for Katrina!!

We all loved Katrina Kaif in ‘Sheila Ki Jawani’ and ‘Chikni Chameli’. She also left us drooling over her ‘Aaya Bodyguard’ act. However, there is one person who thinks that Kats can’t dance.

Well, we are talking about Pandit Birju Maharaj, an authority on the art of dancing. He thinks Katrina doesn’t know to dance.

Pandit Birju Maharaj told TOI in an interview: “Just the other day, I was watching Katrina Kaif on TV. Us ko naachna nahi, hilna bolte hai! (It’s not called dance, but shaking). Today’s heroines have no personality and can’t carry a dance on their own shoulders.”

He also said that the modern day actresses lack the grace of the yesteryear actresses like Waheeda Rahman and Meena Kumari, though he was all praises for Madhuri Dixit.

Yash Chopra has decided to keep the conclusion of the love-triangle in his new directorial venture secret, from not just the world at large, but the protagonists themselves.
Neither Katrina Kaif, nor Anushka Sharma know, or Shah Rukh Khan know the end.
Which one of the two ladies finally gets the guy is not known to anyone except Yashji and Aditya Chopra. Even Shah Rukh Khan, who’s very close to him, has not been told.
According to the grapevine, Chopra didn’t want to relive the situation where Raakhee and Sharmila were constantly at loggerheads over Rajesh Khanna in Daag.
Chopras refute that the film is a Daag remake. It’s a love triangle set in London, where the three actors play contemporary working-class characters.

Katrina talks about her film with Shahrukh!

Katrina Kaif is very excited about her upcoming film with Shahrukh Khan. She has decided to give in her 100 percent and has devoted her major part of 2012 for the film.

The actress talks about her experience on the sets, “I shot with Shah Rukh for five days before my Ek Tha tiger schedule in Cuba. We had never worked before. And I tend to be a bit reserved on the sets. Shah Rukh has shot several times with Yashji. This is my first. But I was made to feel at home from Day 1. Shah Rukh is very helpful. He is helping me understand my character better.”

Informs a friend of Kats, “The role requires Katrina to work on her body language. Shah Rukh, who has seen several heroines including Kajol, Juhi Chawla, Madhuri Dixit and Preity Zinta transform into Yashraj goddesses, is helping Kat with the same.”

Katrina Kaif shoots underwater!

Katrina Kaif may look soft, delicate and dainty from her outward appearance. But don’t get fooled. This woman is a very strong and a tough stuff.

The actress recently shot for a Slice advertisement in Thailand and guess what? The shoot took place underwater. What’s more interesting is that Kats wrapped up the scheduled 2 days shoot in just a single day, working non-stop for 14 hours.

Says a source, “Katrina is a thorough professional and hard work doesn’t scare her. The new Slice ad required her to shoot extensively under water and it is quite tiring. She wrapped up two days’ work in a day and everyone was impressed with her comfort in water.”

The actress is busy shooting for her upcoming flick with Salma. But, side by side, she is also doing ad shoots.

Did Katrina Kaif reject Rajnikanth??

As reported earlier, Katrina Kaif is one actress who is most wanted, down South. It was heard that the actress had grabbed a meaty role opposite superstar Rajnikanth. However, The director of the film later confirmed that Deepika Padukone had landed up with the role.

Well, Kats was Rajni's first choice for Kochadaiyaan. However, the actress had a super tight schedule and so couldn't give dates for Rajnikant's film.

In the past few days, producers have been saying that they are in talks with Kats for some of their upcomings projects. However, kats has a different story to tell.

Her manager is quoted as saying, “Apart from Soundarya Rajinikanth (for Kochadaiyaan), there has been no direct communication with any of the other producers down south.(sic)”

For those new to this news, Kats has already worked down South opposite Venkatesh. Her manager says, “Katrina is a deep admirer of cinema made in the south and she is also fully clued into the legendary status of some of the leading men. She has utmost respect for Mohanlal, Mammootty, Kamal Hassan and Rajinikanth.”

The actress is currently shooting for Ek Tha Tiger with Salman Khan. Her next project will be with SRK for a Yash Chopra film and then Dhoom 3 with Aamir Khan.

Deepika steps in Katrina’s shoes

Till yesterday, news had it that Katrina Kaif was the leading lady opposite Rajnikanth in the film Kochadaiyaan. But now the latest news is that Deepika Padukone landed the coveted part.

Soundarya, Rajni’s younger daughter is directing the movie. She tweets, “Guys. Deepika padukone confirmed to play appa s pair in Kochadaiyaan  great to have you back with us @deepikapadukone  :) big hug!”

Not very long ago, Deepika Padukone was signed opposite Rajnikanth in Rana. However, following Rajni’s ill health, the movie got shelved.

It is heard that Deepy had refused Housefull 2 in order to act opposite Rajni sir, in Rana. Now that the film has been postponed, the actress is game for Kochadaiyaan.

The film will have Tamil actress Sneha play Rajinikanth’s sister, while actress Shobhana and actor Aadhi will have important roles in the film.

The films music will be composed by A R Rahman. Kochadaiyaan is going to be unique and this is for the first time that a 3D film with performance capturing technology is being shot in India.

Katrina Kaif is in demand, down South!

We already know that Katrina Kaif is all set to act opposite South superstar, Rajnikanth. Another Southern biggie who has roped in the gorgeous beauty is Kaman Hassan.

It is heard that in Rajnikanth’s film titled Kochadaiyyan, the actress will be earning a whooping Rs 5 crore.

Enters Kamal Haasan who now wants Kats in his Hindi-Tamil-Telugu anti-corruption epic Amar Hai that goes on the floors by year-end.

Says a friend close to Katrina, “She’s very eager to work with Rajnikant. It’s like a wish come true for every Indian actress to do at least one film with him.
And Kamal Haasan is Kamal Haasan. And to be offered a film by him is a big honour. Between shooting for the two Yashraj films with Salman and Shah Rukh Khan, she has to find the time to squeeze in the Tamil icons.”

In Rajni’s film Kochadaiyyan, Katrina doesn’t have a very big role to play, though she is the lead lady. However, Kamal Hassan’s film has a dream role for the actress.

Says the source, “Firstly she’s a big Kamal Haasan fan. Secondly though Kamaji plays the title role of Amar in the film, Kat has a dream role in Amar Hai, the kind that she has never played before.”

Confirming the news, Hassan said, “She has been approached by the producer. It would be lovely to have her on board. The role suits her perfectly.”

When its a Yash Chopra film, the Swiss Alps, snow and romance has to be there. After eight long years, Yash Chopra returns to the Bollywood industry, making a film with Shahrukh Khan and Katrina kaif. He is busy hunting for a perfect location and needless to mention, he definitely wants his snow clad mountains back.

Confirming the news, Chopra says, “It is being planned.”

Not just the snowy mountains, Kats and SRK will travel to many foreign locations for the shooting of the film, the next scheadule being London.

Chopra added, “Shah Rukh is such a lovely boy. It is always fun shooting with him. We have finished shooting a song here (in Mumbai). Now, we will be going to London next month. After we return, we will be shooting in India for a while. The team is still busy location hunting. Everything will be finalised by the time we come back.”

Salman-Katrina, off to Cuba

Katrina Kaif and Salman Khan are all set to leave for Cuba, to continue the shooting of Kabir Khan’s Film, Ek Tha Tiger. It’s a month long shooting schedule this time.

But why Cuba of all the places??

Well, if reports are to be believed, the weather in Cuba is pretty warm and so it will be safe and comfortable for the film’s actor Salman Khan to continue his work smoothly, considering his neurological condition.

A source close to the project says, “Salman’s neuro-condition which is not fully cured, was aggravated when he shot in the freezing cold in Ireland for the film some months ago. Kabir likes to shoot in difficult locations.”

It is also heard that Salman will be seen performing a few deadly stunts in the film and so having Katrina by his side, he should be safe.

Says a friend of the actress, “Their relationship has now gone to another level where he continues to look out for her, and she for him. While they’ll be shooting in Cuba she will be keeping an eye on his health.”

Katrina states, “I’ll be gone for quite a while. I’ve never been to Cuba before. It sounds exciting.”

Why did ZNMD team boycotts Colors Screen Awards?

At the 18th Annual Colors Screen Awards on Saturday, ‘Zindagi Na Milegi Dobara’ shared the Best Film award with ‘The Dirty Picture’. However, the entire ZNMD team barring Katrina Kaif, boycotted the Award function. Reason: One of the jury members, Sanjay Gupta comments on the flick being a copy.

Says a source close to the Akhtars, “They stayed away after they heard of this ridiculous scheme to keep two filmmakers and their teams happy by putting them both up for Best Picture.”

The comment coming from Sanjay Gupta has particularly hurt the Akhtars.

Says the source, “The guy has made his career out of filching foreign DVDs. And he accuses Zoya of copying some film that no one has heard of!”

After all this, the relations between Farhan Akhtar and Sanjay Gupta have definitely gone sour.
