Abhishek gifts an Audi A8 for Rs.1.5 Crore to his daughter..

It seems daddy Abhishek has booked an Audi A8 for his daughter, Aaradhya. The A8 series was chosen for the letter ‘A’ as it is significant to the couple and now their daughter as well. And if sources are to be believed, the car costs a whopping Rs 1.50 crore!
The little one, went home from the hospital in another Audi owned by the family.

Beti B name is Aaradhya!!

After a long wait of four months, , Aishwarya Rai and Abhishek Bachchan’s daughter has finally been named.

Aaradhya Bachchan it is!!!

Reports have it that choti Bachchan’s formal name has also been registered.

Even before her birth, Aaradhya was famous. After her birth, she was again famous. The whole nation wanted to have a glimpse of her. They wanted to know her name. There were also several speculations about her name. At one point, Beti B was also named Abhilasha by the rumormonger.

However, all the rumors, speculations etc etc has now come to an end.

Meanwhile, we are still waiting for a formal confirmation from the Bachchans, that the little one’s name is indeed Aaradhya.

Earlier this month, Abhishek Bachchan was so busy with his professional life, that he was hardly seen at parties and events. Even at the reception of Riteish Deshmukh and Genelia D’Souza, he was missing by his wife’s side.We finally get to see the most desired couple together after so many days. Ash and Abhi together sent the photogs in a tizzy.

Beti B’s official name is 'Abhilasha' !!!

Abhilasha it is!!! Author Shobhaa De revealed Beti B’s name on Twitter.

We told you that Ash-Abhi’s daughter has finally been named and would soon be out in the open. Well, we never expected it to be this soon.

Anyway, take a look at what Shobhaa De tweeted. 
“Beti B to be named Abhilasha? That’s a stroke of genius. Well done,parents. Abhi and Ash. Truly inspired, if true.”

Though Abhilasha sounds nice, we are still waiting for the Bachchan’s to confirm.. 

Aishwarya to make a comeback!!

Rumors has it that Aishwarya Rai is all set to make a big comeback in a movie opposite Shahrukh Khan.

The film is said to be directed by Sriram Raghavan and is titled ‘Happy Birthday’. Initially, the movie was planned keeping  Aishwarya and John Abraham in mind. However, the project could not materialize back then.

Now that his latest film, Agent Vinod is all set for a release next month, Raghavan is now focusing on ‘Happy Birthday’. The film might roll in November 2012.

Now, the main question is, will Aishwarya Rai agree to the project?

Beti B finally named !!

Beti B finally gets a name. The proud parents of beti b, finally managed to zero down on a name, though its still a secret. All we know is her name starts with either ‘A’ or ‘Aa’.

Papa Abhishek confirmed the news at an event.

“We’ve got a name, and I’ll announce it very soon, but in terms of releasing a photograph you know I… if people see her in everyday life that’s fine by me, but I just think releasing the photograph is a very pompous thing to do. We don’t believe in any ceremony in terms of naamkaran,” said Abhishek Bachchan.

Rumors had it that Beti B’s formal name was ‘Aaliya’. However, Abhishek denied it. Rumors also has it that, once Big B is back home, the name of their little daughter will be revealed to the world.

By the way, Amitabh Bachchan is admitted in Seven Hills Hospital and is recuperating from a surgery.

We guess that Beti B’s formal name will be announced by Amitabh Bachchan.

Abhishek and Aishwarya return Rajkumar Santoshi’s Signing Amount..

Rajkumar Santoshi’s Ladies and Gentleman was supposed release in July 2011 where Aishwarya was to play the lead. The situation changed when Aishwarya became pregnant. Santoshi then said, “The fact that Aishwarya and Abhishek are going to be parents is far more important than my film. The role will no longer suit her.”
Santoshi had paid Rs 25 lakh each to Abhishek and Aishwarya for his film Ladies and Gentleman. However, the film couldn’t take off. According to a source close to the filmmaker, to recover his lost money, Santoshi went to Abhishek’s bungalow and Abhishek didn’t keep him waiting and returned the signing amount.
Confirming that he has received his Rs 50 lakh signing amount for Ladies and Gentleman, Santoshi said, “But I will make a new film with them, perhaps next year.”

Aishwarya and Beti B visit Amitabh in hospital..

Amitabh Bachchan recovering at Mumbai Sevenhills hospital had a special visitor. Three month old granddaughter ‘Beti B’ came to see her grandfather with mother Aishwarya Rai Bachchan.
Jaya Bachchan and daughter Shweta Nanda were taking turns to look after Amitabh. Shweta brings home cooked food daily around 3pm, gives her mother some rest and then Jaya revisits at 7pm.
Big B is at the fifth floor of the hospital the same floor where Beti B was born but security is not as tight as earlier.
Amitabh’s visitors include Ram Gopal Varma, Ramesh Taurani, Apoorva Lakhia, Sanjay Dutt and Manyata Dutt.

Aishwarya to act down South??

Latest buzz has it that Aishwarya Rai Bachchan will be doing a film down South opposite Pawan Kalyan. The film is said to be directed by Puri Jagannadh.

Rumors also has it that Puri Jagannadh wants to start filming the movie this summer and wrap it up before the end of 2012. In the film, Pawan Kalyan plays a live TV news reporter. D.V.V.Danayya is producing it on his universal media banner.

However, nothing is yet confirmed.

In her acting career spanning 15 years, Aishwarya Rai has worked in five films down south.

Ash-Abhi-Beti B fly to Goa!

The latest news has it that Aishwarya Rai and Abhishek Bachchanare on a holiday to Goa, with Beti B.

The couple left for their holiday destination on Sunday night. What’s interesting is that Sunday also happened to be Abhishek Bachchan’s birthday.

Having to fulfill her motherly duties, Ash has been running around Beti B, round the clock. Abhi has also been very busy with his film ‘Bol Bachchan’, post the baby’s birth. Well, this long due holiday was very much needed and it came just on time.

Ash in particular needed this holiday as the actress hasn’t been out of Jalsa, ever since her daughter was born.

Valerio Massimo Manfredi has some unflattering words for Aishwarya Rai!!

Italian historian and author of about 17 historical novels, Valerio Massimo Manfredi has a few unpleasant words for Bollywood queen Aishwarya Rai.

For those who do not know, Aishwarya Rai along with Colin Firth and Ben Kingsley, acted in the film ‘The Last Legion’, which is adapted from Manfredi’s own book.

Talking to a news agency, Manfredi said, “My character of the leading lady was totally different. She was from a village but Aishwarya was totally different. She was the lover of the protagonist…but she acted as if the film was for kids,” Manfredi is quoted to have told IANS.

In love with Aishwarya Rai’s eyes, Manfredi regretted the lack of expression of love in them.

“She has such strong expressive and beautiful eyes. Some little expression of love would have made the film more different,” Manfredi added.

“I have noticed that everybody who has not read the book liked the film and those who read the book did not like the movie. This is very usual because they are two different kinds of expression. While the book uses words, cinema uses images,”

Manfredi was in India to launch the Indian editions of his popular Alexander trilogy.

Did Aishwarya do a cover shoot?

Till last week, we heard that Aishwarya Rai has been rejecting several offers coming her way, because of her two-months-old baby. However, the latest is that the actress has posed for the cover page of the January edition of Elegant Living magazine, which is a US based publication.

On the cover, Ash is all decked up in a white suit and a hat. She looks quite slim and trim. So we wonder when did the shoot happen!

Buzz has it that the mag, having Ash on its cover, is just a publicity stunt so as to attract people to purchase their copies with the hope of getting a glimpse of recent images of Ash and her baby.

Currently, when the entire nation is curious to know what’s cooking in the Bachchan pariwaar, whats delaying the formal naming of the baby, etc etc, having Aishwarya on the maazne cover is the best way to get its copies sold, like hot cakes.

Aishwarya Rai on Dabboo Ratnani’s 2012 Calendar!

In the pictures released by celebrity photographer Dabboo Ratnani, Aishwarya Rai looks drop dead gorgeous in the first look of his 2012 calendar. What’s interesting is that these pics were actually taken so as to be featured in ‘Heroine’.

Reveals Dabboo, “I did a shoot with Aishwarya that was to be featured in the movie (Heroine), much like the one I did with Priyanka Chopra in Fashion. The stills are from the same shoot.”

But what we remember is that Ash had warned director Madhur Bhandarkar to refrain using any of her pics for the promotion of his film ‘Heroine’. However, it is learnt that the actress did not turn down the ace photographer’s request to picture her in his calendar, as long as he did not use them in any association with the film.

Well, this years calander also features Salman Khan, Amitabh Bachchan, Hrithik Roshan, Priyanka Chopra, Sonakshi Sinha, Vidya Balan, Ajay Devgan, Shahrukh Khan, and Bipasha Basu.

Vivek not to apologise to Salman anymore

It was one mistake that cost him his career and his social currency in Bollywood. And now Vivek Oberoi, with numerous projects finally in his kitty, is just about recovering from it.
When he took on Salman Khan at a press conference in 2003, talking about the alleged SMSes and the harassment over his ex girlfriend, Vivek did not really know how it would haunt him for the rest of his life.
A lot of water has flowed under the bridge and the person, for whom Vivek had taken on the mighty Khan has moved on with her life. So has Vivek. Well almost.
Over the years the beleaguered actor has repeatedly tried to make peace with Salman. At public functions he had also approached him with folded hands – the very picture of regret and apology. Yet, Salman remained indifferent.
And now at a family dinner at the Oberois’ home in Juhu, it was decided that there would be no more public apologies to Salman from Vivek. An eye-witness present at the dinner revealed to this diarist that the family has had its share of humiliation. “Vivek is not going to apologise to Salman only to be cold shouldered or humiliated by him,” said the guest at the dinner.
